COMMANDER presents interesting innovations regarding its predecessor Back Jac. Its a model of great success that unifies the dorsal air chamber advantages with the versatility of traditional jackets because, apart from the incorporated burden system, it has two zip pockets of big dimensions. It's an interesting proposal of 100% dorsal volume, with a robust construction but light at the same time (3.250 Kg, M size) and low transport volume.
The harness system completely independent from the sack, now also on the shoulders' area, provides an absolute stability of the jacket over the diver and it completely liberates from opression the chest, axillary and abdominal areas due to the expansion of the sack to the dorsal area and around the tank. Shoulder pads with anti-abrasion profile to use with light wetsuits.

The dorsal air chamber provides the greatest ascensional capacity of all Cressi range (19 Kg, M size) but with an external stowage volume always contained, thanks to the elastic straps of contention that have to facilitate the emptying manoeuvre.
The new LAS weight system 2.0 (Lock Aid System) is now more integrated on the vest profile and its thickness has been reduced. This system, which continues Cressi tradition, guarantees the maximum facility of weight insertion and disinsertion totally safe before accidental losses because its fixations incorporate a spring effect (patented) to prevent accidental fouling. Its management is completely ergonomic even without looking.
There are two fix weight compartments between the back pack and the chamber, really useful to define the diver trim.
It combines five different fabrics to achieve the suitability depending on every vest area’s requirements.
Commander is incredibly light and semi-flexible to fulfill its function without adding any weight or volume to the assembly. Completely covered with a comfortable neutral buoyancy pad produced in closing cell material that avoids water and air accumulation and, therefore, it reduces the buoyancy inherent to the vest and facilitates quick dry.
Its design and distribution make it 100% unisex.

The system of harness completely independent of the bag, now also in the area of shoulder pads, provides absolute stability of the vest on the diver and completely frees the oppression of the chest, axillary and abdominal area due to the expansion of the sac towards the dorsal area and surrounding the bottle.

LAS (2.0) ballast system that drastically reduces the total volume of the mechanism, especially the one that is integrated in the vest itself, making it much flatter, lighter and more discreet. New handle with gummy touch assembled directly in the pocket. The LAS system allows the ballast management to be carried out in an automated and intuitive way, even with the vest placed and in bad conditions (in flotation, with rough seas, etc.). The pockets that enter perfectly in their seats and a "D" ring located in the mouth of the access facilitates the tension of the fabric and the direct entrance of the bag. Closing with spring effect of 15 mm of travel that compensates possible accidental hooks with ropes, etc. Disengaged in two phases: the first, compensation and then the actual disengagement. The pockets reinforced with a rigid plate to facilitate its sliding. Common to all sizes, from XS to XL, and identical, both for the left and right sides. Capacity of up to 4.5 kg each with flexible ballast.

Direct System Inflator. Double metallic filter on the low air entrance, on the rods and cylindrical filter around the valve. It has a remarkably robust body with attractive design. The inflating velocity has been rebalanced, 50% higher (traditional jacket of M size in 4 seconds to 1 atm). Anti-sand design with minimized oral inflator nozzle. The pusher has a wide gap in relation to its main seat to avoid the sand blocking action. Watertightness emptying pusher via exterior silicone D-ring. Inflating pusher integrated in the profile to avoid unwanted inflating when pulling the windpipe to empty it. New really resistant windpipe with a progressive curvature. It includes guide-hose clamp.
