CHEROKEE is the evolution of GERONIMO 2 model from which it benefits in terms of basic features with loads of new technical innovations and that maintains Cressi traditional heads’ features regarding robustness and ergonomics with technical vanguard solutions, in many cases exclusive.
HEAD
New head evolved from the one used in GERONIMO model with different reinforcements and anatomic modifications to improve its grip, management and resistance to flexion. Oversized trigger guard and trigger situated in line with the tube to eliminate the inertia moment when we shoot. Integrated rotating lock actionable with the thumb. New integrated rubber burden support. The attachment point to the rod has been held back 5 cm to optimize the dynamic propulsion of the rubbers and extend it during a larger tube length. Reinforced and simplified assembly with the tube to eliminate the flexion at this point. It incorporates a new especially robust and reliable grip system for the reel. Rounded flaps to place the thread on the reload process and to avoid to interfere on the howitzer’s grip.
MECHANISM
New metallic mechanism made 100% in Cressi Italia. It combines stainless steel elements with exclusive auto lubricant Teflon elements to minimize erosion. It has an extraordinary relationship between trigger’s sensibility and resistance to accidental unhook even using powerful double rubber. Stainless steel side retractile cable holder.
TUBE
Anticorodal aluminum tube of ø28 mm derived from MOICANO model with integral low erosion guide because the rod is only supported on the two external angles. Reinforced low area through thicknesses over sizing. This combination allows the spear gun to maintain an extraordinary management at the same time it has higher rigidity than the one of spear guns with much bigger diameter.
HEADBOARD
Open, minimalist but really robust headboard that allows using double rubber. Its cobra head design softens the angle of the rubbers to work more effectively without suffering unnecessary erosions or tensions that shorten its duration. In case of using double rubber, the action of both of them can be perfectly complemented. The headboard incorporates on the low area new guide thread in stainless steel that also has the function of cable holder in case of using double sewing.
RUBBERS
Rubber of 17mm pure USA latex with Dyneema howitzer. Possibility of mounting it with double rubber.
ROD
6.5 mm rod with plugs. Tempered and darkened steel 16 4 PH.
