This is the last version of the most successful modular wetsuit of the last years. The new Lontra Plus 7mm has a new pattern that reduces sewing making the panels wider to optimize the elasticity. It’s completely black with two discreet insertions over the shoulders in blue (male version) or in red (female version).
The 100% of exterior lining is extremely elastic Ultraspan®. This lining allows using a low-buoyancy and good resistance to compression neoprene, reaching a perfect elasticity (always that is combined with an internal lining of the same elasticity). Also, it has additional advantages as quicker dry and higher hydrodynamics.
Helioflex® is applied all over the internal area that is in touch with the skin, a very soft fabric that facilitates the suit’s insertion and improves its thermal conductivity before, during and after diving. Its ripple texture and kind of fiber reduces water circulation and increases the neoprene’s thermal memory. Also, it’s waterproof so it has very quick dry. These two fabrics have a similar elasticity level which allows combining them with a dense and compact neoprene to reduce the suit’s buoyancy and its compression level.
The most exposed panels to abrasion as shoulders and shins are made of Small Dyamond®, a very resistant fabric over which thermo welded Tatex protections are applied.
Vertical rear toothed TIZIP MASTER SEAL© dry zip. A new and completely toothed dry zip with the equivalent flexibility of traditional wetsuit zips. Less need for maintenance and greater comfort than any other semi-dry suit zip. The insertion of the vertical format of this zip provides a comfort-dry relationship previously unknown.
Brand new Anatomic Shape collar preformed at 120º for maximum comfort. The design is remarkably improved, which reduces water entrance at that tipping point. The closing flap is now wider and the back of the neck area is larger to avoid infiltrations when leaning the collar into the water.
It has a combination of double cuffs with zip in wrists and ankles, and classic elegance when combining the colors. The new pattern, with wide panels and sober tones make it especially attractive.

New elastic Tatex reinforcements on shoulders and kneepads-shin pads, very aesthetical due to its three tone colors combination and because they practically maintain the original elasticity of the area where they’re applied.
The total configuration is: 7mm one-piece suit + independent hood with valve, which eliminates automatically the residual air. New anchorage hood system over the hip. All modular Cressi suits have now a unique polyvalent jacket 100% Ultraspan with 3mm sleeves. Its combination black-dark grey make it 100% combinable. All the elements are independent and can be purchased separately.

Lontra uses now Tizip Master Seal© watertight zip that guarantees a comfort and flexibility identical to the previous version with standard zip but with a water infiltration level practically inexistent.
The new dorsal closing system makes wider the plain neoprene flap and it’s extended to the neck to avoid typical water infiltrations of suits with vertical dorsal closing, especially when the diver inclines the head forward. It’s a combination of comfort and watertightness previously unknown.

100% Ultraspan© lining in the outside, extremely resistant to erosion and significantly elastic in all directions. High-density neoprene is used and the wetsuit elasticity is obtained on the basis of the manipulated lining, without reducing neoprene’s density.
100% Helioflex© lining in the inside, more quick drying than the usually used plush lining and made of an incredible thermal quality. It is extremely pleasing and thermal. It doesn’t limit the original elasticity of the neoprene or the Ultraspan© outside fabric.

Anatomic Shape pattern that respects the neck’s profile regarding the chest and avoids oppression in this area.
Watertightness through interior Glide Skin cuffs in wrists and ankles + Plain (to avoid being adhered when is not used) and zips.

Shoulders and knees are protected with elastic resistant reinforcement in Tatex® tricolor with Cressi personalization. This kind of reinforcement almost doesn’t limit the neoprene elasticity; it is sufficient and facilitates to put the wetsuit on
Hood with discreet valve system to drain the residual air during the rising process and fixation system to the suit through a little snap hook.
Warning
An excessive use of lubricating grease in dry zips could cause the membrane’s saturation and behave as solvent, having an adverse effect on its resistance and breaking it. Grease must be always applied using a minimum covering and exclusively when the zip is dry.
Never use Vaseline, other low density or oil-based lubricants which may accelerate this problem.
